The good people at Purdy have introduced a new line of products we are testing in the field - roller covers made from recycled fibers, and paint brushes made from sustainably harvested hardwood and recycled resin bristles.  We're glad to have the likes of Purdy, a well regarded manufacturer of paint sundries, embark upon a good faith effort to reduce their carbon footprint.  We'll be meeting with them and touring their factory in Portland, Oregon this summer, as part of the the PDCA Residential Forum's Advanced Shop Talk event.

We look forward to returning from that conference rejuvenated, inspired and motivated painting contractors.  And of course we'll be sure to purchase carbon offsets for the required air travel.

Noticed you guys were mentioned in the current American Painting Contractor magazine by another paint company that hired a former Catchlight employee and was impressed with his training. Thats cool!
