The door is locked; inside the security grille is still down but I can see a figure behind it, readying the store for the day. Stepping back I notice I'm 25 minutes early--the UPS store opens at 8.30 and my HP printer cartridge return will have to wait another day.
Walking away, now almost to my car, I hear a call. I turn around and find the UPS man running down the sidewalk after me, "Did you want to drop that off? I'm happy to take it."
Amazing. Instructive customer service, and not just to the enterprising painting company writing here...
