You'd think that, as a Boston painting contractor, our first baseball-themed blog might well focus on Fenway Park's Green Monster.  It'd be such a logical touchpoint--37' x 240' x 38 gallons of sweet green, painted every other year.

Alas, the Washington Nationals have beaten our home team to the punch: last night, the Nats opened their tenure at the first green stadium in the U.S. with a rousing 3-2 victory over the Braves.

And just like that, we've gone green in more ways than one: we're rooting for the Nats to go all the way...unless that bumps them up against the Sox.  You'll understand if provincialism and old rooting habits die hard in that case.
