An odd morning today: last night's forecast indicated showers would hold off until late afternoon and yet here we are in Brookline, moving an exterior crew to a powerwash to accomodate the current showers.

And on that subject, we'd like to shift the typical focus of green painting away from eco-friendly paint and proper disposal and towards the powerwash--the prologue to nearly all exterior painting projects.

At Catchlight, we look to use environmentally friendly mildewcidal detergent wherever possible while minimizing water usage in service of a wash that is as 'green' (is 'gray' a better term here?) as it is effective.

We welcome the thoughts and suggestions of fellow painting contractors on this subject.
