Under the aegis of our green painting series, I've written earlier of the pleasure I take in driving my Toyota Prius - after my last experience servicing the car at Prime Toyota in Dedham, I'm happy to add a note of appreciation for the calibre of Toyota's dedication to customer service.  During the 2 hour visit, the car received a comprehensive safety inspection, tire rotation, test drive to ascertain a knocking in the steering column, and transmission fluid change.

The technician asked for my company on a second test drive and noted he had already tightened the steering column tilt handle which appeared to have eliminated the noise, but wanted me to confirm the knocking was resolved.  It was, and at the end of the test drive he carefully reviewed the results of his work with me, and then walked me to the cashier - total charged for 2 hours of his time?  $29.95.

Amazing.

But most amazing was his interest in dealing with me, and not just the car.
I know, this sounds like a cheesy customer testimonial, but it's not, I promise!
